Get More Leads With A Simple Headline Trick

The moment you go through this article, you will have the ability to put anyone's eyes on your business

When you start a business, you look at the big things to get better at. You don’t quite have the experience to know small tricks and tips to get better results.

I know this because I used to be in this position. I started somewhere like everyone else and had to learn by viewing things wrong.

Let's say you are going on a trip with a friend named Sam, for example, and you're in the airport. Next thing you know, Sam is gone. The goal is to find her and get her attention.

So the options are you start walking around trying to find her, not saying anything, and waste lots of time in a place with thousands of people.

You can do that, or if you really want to get her attention, you yell “Hey Sam”. All of a sudden everyone looks at you, including Sam.

Long story short, by yelling her name, you got her attention, as well and everyone else's.

It's quite simple, yet you see no one else do it when someone's lost.

What do companies get wrong?

The most simple yet result killing ability in business, is making a headline. This goes for your ads, blogs, websites, everything.

Trust me, when I first thought about making websites and ads, I thought they had to be pretty and win design awards.

But what I learned is the importance of a headline. It is the simplest way to get people's attention and keep it.

So what do other companies get wrong? They simply forget headlines even exist, or just don’t care for them.

Then you talk to them and they say their ads aren’t doing too great and they don’t know why.

Their headlines simply don’t give readers an interest to read on.

What’s so important about a little headline?

Whether it’s your website or an ad, the headline you make is the single most important part to it all.

When people view your ad, or your website, the first thing they see is your headline.

So if your headline on your website is your company name, it gives viewers no reason to read further. Same thing goes for ads, but different.

If you make an ad and your headline is “Hey everyone, hope you're doing well”, It gives people zero interest in what you have to offer.

A headline needs to get the audience interested, it needs to state a problem. Once you do that, then you achieve the goal of a headline, which is to get people to read the entire ad, then reach out to you.

I was confused at first when hearing this myself. I didn’t think a headline had much power.

But as I kept learning, I realized headlines are king towards getting people interested in what you do or sell.

So, what's the trick with this headline thing?

I’ve talked about this before, but the goal of an ad is to get people's attention, so they end up reaching out to you.

The headline is the catalyst in achieving that goal. If your headline doesn’t strike interest, that ad is officially dead.

Businesses have ads with terrible results because their headlines have meaningless information that strikes no interest. Due to that, their ads get no attention.

In order to have winning ads, you need a headline that states a problem. Let's say you have an ecommerce store and sell a back roller (very random).

From the top of my head I would immediately make a headline saying “Do you struggle with back pain?'.

Simple, it states the problem people would face, and the back roller solves that, then you go on with the ad.

No fancy words, no “hey how you doing”, no needless words, simple questions and statements that state a problem in your target audience.

So I don’t care how you do it, but understand your headline needs to state a problem, to get people to read on.

You can write it on paper, on your hand, your dog, doesn’t matter. Get that message stuck in your head when making headlines, and your gold.

I understand you have the body copy in ads, offers, pictures. They're important, but it won’t matter if people don’t have the interest to read the rest of the ad.

Focus on headlines first. When you start making ads, think of the problem your service or product solves. Jot that problem down, then state it in the headline.

This trick will transform the results of your ads. It’s not easy at the start, it never is. If you have any questions on this, contact us and we will help you out!
