How to 3x Your Sales Using Two-Step Lead Generation

I’m sure we can all agree that most ads we come across try to shove what they're selling down our throats.

They're desperate and want sales immediately… Which leads to the audience getting annoyed.

If they can’t close the sale the first time around, it’s over.

The point of an ad is to get people interested. Have them raise their hands saying “I want that.”

The way of doing that is through two-step lead generation.

This article will show you what it is, and how you can effectively use it for your business.

What’s Two-Step Lead Generation?

We all want to know who and who isn’t interested in our business.

Two-step lead gen does just that. You’ll have the ability to sort through any audience and figure out who your hungry market is.

I’ll give you an example:

  • Let’s say you're running an ad on your service and have a free video for people to watch.

  • Instead of focusing only on the sale, you send them a video to build trust and show what you do.

  • You take that extra step so it gives you a better chance of closing the deal later on.

  • If you went straight for the sale, you’d seem like every other company.

Why Is This So Important?

People aren’t a huge fan of ads. If you try to be Mr. hardcore salesmen, you're making it worse.

99% of companies use their ads to sell people right on the spot.

It’s like a sniper compared to a machine gun.

If you shoot a sniper and miss, it takes forever to reload. By the time you do, that person is gone.

Machine guns on the other hand have unlimited attempts. You can wait and see if someone is interested before trying to sell them.

Let’s Incorporate This Into Your Business

Here are a few ways two-step lead generation can impact your business

Send Your Leads Content

Take the extra step by sending people who are interested a piece of content.

It could be an article, video, e-book, anything like that.

By doing this it builds rapport and trust between you and the prospect.

It also increases your chances of closing them as a paying client.

Retarget Your Ads

If someone shows interest in your ad but doesn’t reach out, retarget it to get their full interest the second time around.

Here’s something to keep in mind: Don’t show the same ad over and over again.

Give them something different. It shows you understand what they're looking for in the buyers process.

Stay Patient

The chances of closing someone from an ad itself is slim to none.

If you focus on quick sales and wanting clients immediately, you’ll scare everyone away.

Create ads that have people raising their hands, interested in what you sell.

Utilize the previous tips to build rapport, then close the deal

I can GUARANTEE your sales will multiply.
