The Majority Of Ads Fail Because Of This

We’ve all had the experience where things get complex. Could be when you're out shopping or buying something online. It happens.

You start wishing for everything to be simple. It’s the same way with ads.

When people read an ad and it’s complex, with a lot of unnecessary things, they won’t deal with it.

It can be a lot of things. The way it's worded could make no sense, people could be using fancy words they would never use in a normal conversation.

It basically starts to sound robotic, or like they had AI do the job.

Not only that, most of the time I see people have offers that make no sense.

The offer is what gets them interested. If it makes no sense, how would that ad work?

It wouldn’t.

If it’s too complex, no one will do it. When people want to buy something, they just want to buy it.

No one has an attention span anymore, and no one is willing to wait for something.

It needs to be SIMPLE.

Mistakes That Always Happen

With the world we live in today, no one cares about the things we have to say. It’s all about them.

When it comes to ads, if you try to use long and cool sounding words, you basically kill the chances of having a successful ad..

Be genuine and be you. Don’t make an ad sound dumb so you can get a point across.

The point of an ad is to get people interested so they reach out.

If it has an action to take, and it’s a 10 step process that takes an hour, I can guarantee you no one will do it.

Any sort of action that makes no sense or has several steps, will lead to you getting no results.

There are too many times where an ad will give people an action to take, and it’s really something that wasn’t said

Better yet, it’ll have 2 different actions, making people question what they should do.

Once people start questioning or are just confused, they’ll do nothing.

They just want a simple process. We all do.

You have to think of what will make more people reach out.

Will making things complex do the trick?...No.

What You Need To Do

The foundation I give myself for everything is simple and straightforward. Being boring and simple will always win over confusion and complexity.

If you're making a headline and thinking of a cool way to word it, just don’t do it.

I understand that feeling because I used to be that way. I wanted to have the catchiest headline and text possible.

But I quickly realized, it wasn’t needed.

I was always told by my professor to keep everything simple.

I can promise you a simple ad will always be better.

The majority of people want things to be easy in life, so make ads easy for them to understand.

If you want people to fill out a form, don’t go on about something else. Tell them exactly what they need to do, and the few steps there will be in the process. Make it easy.

When things are hard for people, most won’t do it

You have to care for your audience and understand them.

This is why doing simple things will always win. Your competition doesn’t understand this, and they never will.

Keep things simple, and straight to the point, then you’ll win. If you want me to analyze your ads, contact me for a free consultation.
