That is an audience. It’s the single most important part to ensure a business is reaching its best possible prospects or customers.


We could have floating cars 20 years from now, tables that talk to us, robotic dogs, but in the end there is always an audience for each business no matter what is being sold.


What you sell may be biased towards women, or men. It could be biased for a specific age group or a specific location. 


If you don’t think about an audience that will actually buy from you, only a handful of people will buy from you.

Audience Could Be Your Pain Point


Audience is key to running a successful business. You could be the first to make floating cars and still mess it up.


The main problem is people are money driven. They forget what they actually need to do in order to make more money. 


If you run an ad targeted towards the whole world, and what you sell is biased towards a small group of people, you're basically wasting your money.


If you sell something biased towards women and advertise it to both genders, only 50% would be interested. The other half would go to waste.


It’s very important to know your audience. There are people out there who are interested in what you have, but it may only be a specific group that's interested.


Research to see the way your audience reacts to other companies and see the positive and negative reviews.


It will give you an idea on what you could do to be better and give your audience what they want.


You could do some research and find something about people in your audience you never knew about.


The problem with all of this is people aren’t willing to do it all. None of this is hard. If you want to start getting results in your marketing, you need to find the right audience.


Not every age range will be interested in what you have. Both genders may not be interested, certain locations may not work for you, this is why having a certain audience is everything.


In order to find that audience there are a few things you’ll need to do.


How To Find The Perfect Audience


Let's start with a few questions you need to ask yourself:


  1. What gender will be interested?

  2. What age range would want what you have?

  3. Is there a certain location(s) meant for your business?


After you ask yourself these questions, you have the foundation for your audience. It’s very simple.


Once you have that foundation, do some research about these types of people and what you sell, and see what they say about other companies in reviews. 


Look at the good and the bad, and use it to put towards your business so the audience loves what you have.


It’ll give you a perfect understanding of what to expect from your audience and give them exactly what they're looking for.


People love when they are recognized and get attention. Use that to your advantage and show that YOU understand THEM.


Every single person will end up at the doorstep of your business, and the results will start to pour in.
