Yes, I was right in a way. But it’s easy to get carried away in giving heavy discounts, having the lowest prices, and just caring about quantity.


I understand we want to sell the most we possibly can, and we want to have unlimited clients. But there’s a point where people start questioning if what they're getting from you is any good.


It’s not that what you sell or do is bad, it’s just the fact that you're selling it and making your company seem like all you care about is quantity and not quality.


I’m going to explain this, and show you exactly how to add value to your company so your competition has zero chances against you.


What Problems Hold Companies Back?


You see it a lot on Amazon. There’s all sorts of companies fighting for the lowest price so people will choose them.


It’s like they don’t care about quality and profits. They just want to sell as many as possible.


This may work, but not for very long. I’ll give you a few reasons why:


  1. There are more companies ready to come out with a price lower than yours


  1. Eventually you’ll lower the price so much that you’ll barely be making any profits


  1. It will come to the point where people question if what they're getting is even any good quality. So they’ll go ahead and choose the more expensive option so they get the quality they want.


Once you do this, you basically join a bidding war of companies fighting to have the lowest price.


A good example is companies making cell phones at a very low price compared to Apple.


People may fall for that low price, but before you know it they are heading to the Apple store because they have superior quality.

When you think of Apple, you think of a company that never puts their products on sale. But yet they are one of the biggest companies in the world.


Think about commercials, ads, and videos you’ve seen from Apple, because I know we all have. Ask yourself, Have they ever advertised based on discounts?


It’s a clear NO. Never. So why do so many people buy from them?


They sell and advertise based on VALUE, quality.


Never on discounts and quantity.


They have all these cool looking videos and ads. So when you buy something from them, it feels like you have something of value. Something no other company on the planet has.


It makes you feel that it was worth the money. No other company can compete with this.


No one buys from them because they have monthly discounts or never ending coupons.


People buy from them because…..their Apple. That’s it.

You need to get the thought of discounts and sales out of your head, and focus on making what you sell worth its value.


I’m not saying don’t ever have a sale, But if you revolve your product around a higher value and higher quality, you won’t need sales. 

 

When you make an offer in your ads, talk about things like a “Free consultation” or “We only have 100 left, get yours now”. That will get people interested in what you have, It will also give them the fear of missing out on that opportunity.


Let everyone else play the low price bidding war. By putting value on what you have, people will come to you understanding that what you sell is QUALITY.
