With every business comes a product or service. One of the biggest misconceptions people get is by focusing on what they sell and nothing else.
These people care about the quantity they sell and don’t think about the audience around them.
If you want to succeed in any business model, there are 3 tips that are NEEDED in order to win.
Before I start, there’s no rocket science or any super ultra mega skills needed. All you need is common knowledge.
Businesses fail because they make things too complex to handle, and everyone else notices and it all goes to trash.
Here’s my first tip.
The Message You Give
When people buy something, they get a good feeling from the marketing on this product, making them think “It’s worth it”.
That good feeling is the message given. Successful businesses make unlimited money because they let their whole audience know they care.
It’s not a contest with another company for the lowest price, or which employee can sell the most.
It’s about showing your audience you care for them and what you sell is worth its value.
When you spread this message with the audience, they gain trust and end up buying from you.
This is what we want.
No contest for the lowest price or heaviest discount. Just straight care for your audience and having a price point that is worth its value.
This is crucial to having good marketing, but if this next tip is done wrong, none of that matters.
What’s your Target Audience?
Nothing else in the marketing world matters if you have the wrong target audience. This is everything.
You need to make sure your advertising is out to the right people who will be interested.
Let's say you sell men’s facial razors, for example.
Would women be interested in this?......No.
If you go and make an ad for this product and choose both genders to reach out to, there goes 50% of your audience….Gone.
You need to ask yourself three things when it comes to finding the right audience
What gender(s) would buy this?
What age range would be interested?
Where are we advertising too? (Location)
When you can figure these questions out, you finally found the correct target audience. It’s that easy.
The next part is pretty crucial and depends on finding your target audience.
3. Where Or How Will You Market Your Business?
There are all sorts of ways to advertise. It can be online or IRL.
When you have your target audience figured out, you need to think about “How will I get out to them?”.
People are on social media at all times. You can never go wrong with those types of ads.
If you have a big online presence, like a store or service, it may be best to advertise online.
Compared to an in person store, you may want to hang a banner up or pass around flyers.
There are unlimited ways to get your business out to people. You need to think of where your audience is, and go to them.
Don’t just throw random ads around reaching random people.
Use your brain and think outside the box.
What Happens When It's All Put Together?
None of this is hard, yet people still find a way to over complicate it.
If you can utilize these 3 tips in your business, I can promise you’ll see big changes.
